A reading of “Grandmother’s Tale”, one of the earliest variants of Little Red Riding Hood, surpassing even Charles Perrault and the Brothers Grimm version.

This was often told orally in Italy, but it was finally recorded on paper in the nineteenth century, when the academic study of fairy tales was starting to become a thing.
